Sierra - TVHS 2014 | Temecula Senior Photographer

It was WINDY day in Temecula the day of this session and Old Town Temecula is like a wind tunnel. Wind, snap, snap, snap, wind, snap, snap, snap...that is how the session went, with some laughing in between.  No matter the weather, Sierra looked beautiful for her senior photos!  Isn't she stunning?

Sierra is headed off to San Jose State University this Fall!  She has many exciting adventures to come!

This is the first time that I have gotten this whole family in front of my camera!  I have learned from having two boys of my own, talking about poop, boogers, farts, and candy tend to get them to smile and focus on what we are doing.  It works every time.  It's a kid thing:)

Lindsey - TVHS Class of 2014 | Temecula Senior Photographer

When discussing places to photograph Lindsey for her senior session, she wanted to go with a natural setting.  With this drought like weather we are having in Souther California, the Santa Rosa Plateau was the perfect location.  It is beautiful all year round...and the snakes aren't out and about yet so that was a plus:)  Lindsey is a natural in front of the camera, don't you think?

Lindsey is getting ready to decide where she will go to college in the Fall.  She plans on becoming a nurse when she graduates which is such a wonderful career choice!  Good luck to you Lindsey!

I absolutely love this age!  I like to call it the sitting up and smiling before they start crawling stage:)  Mr. Chase was a ham in front of the camera the entire time, making my job extra easy and fun!  I can't wait to capture him taking steps the next time I see him!

I love family sessions and I am really loving at home family sessions. There is something intimate about them.  Instead of newborn photos they decided on a 3 month/family session in the comfort of their own home.  I had so much fun with this family...even if that meant putting a blanket over my head to get Mr. P's (older bro) attention at the end of the session:)  I played peek-a-boo which turned into being a monster and then he got upset when it had to end.  The things we do for kids!

I hope you all had a great four day weekend!

I have photographed these beauties a lot and I feel blessed to be able to watch them grow from behind my camera.  Photographing them is always an adventure and this time we got to document the twins losing both of their top front teeth!

And somehow I ended up buying four boxes of girls scout cookies from them...I am not going to tell you how many boxes are left!

I love newborns.  I love everything about them from their small toes to the smell of their new skin.  Though newborn sessions have proved to be my most challenging type of session, I love having the opportunity to hold a new little miracle. Even if only for just a couple of hours.  For this newborn session, the family chose to have the session in the comfort of their own home.  It was perfect. I had such a great time meeting this family and being able to capture these special moments!

This maternity session is extra special to me because  it is of my cousin and her husband...and they are having their first baby!  They are having a baby girl in March and I am so excited for them.  I can't wait to photograph the three of them as a family in a couple of months...technically all three of them are in this session:)
