This is the first time that I have gotten this whole family in front of my camera!  I have learned from having two boys of my own, talking about poop, boogers, farts, and candy tend to get them to smile and focus on what we are doing.  It works every time.  It's a kid thing:)

Mr. C is 8 months! | Temecula Children's Photographer

I absolutely love this age!  I like to call it the sitting up and smiling before they start crawling stage:)  Mr. Chase was a ham in front of the camera the entire time, making my job extra easy and fun!  I can't wait to capture him taking steps the next time I see him!

I love newborns.  I love everything about them from their small toes to the smell of their new skin.  Though newborn sessions have proved to be my most challenging type of session, I love having the opportunity to hold a new little miracle. Even if only for just a couple of hours.  For this newborn session, the family chose to have the session in the comfort of their own home.  It was perfect. I had such a great time meeting this family and being able to capture these special moments!

This maternity session is extra special to me because  it is of my cousin and her husband...and they are having their first baby!  They are having a baby girl in March and I am so excited for them.  I can't wait to photograph the three of them as a family in a couple of months...technically all three of them are in this session:)

Pin It I can't believe 2013 is coming to an end tonight and tomorrow starts a new year!  I have been blessed beyond measure in 2013 with amazing clients and friends.  Thank you all for believing in my ability and entrusting me with the memories that will last you and your families a lifetime!

My last sneak peek of the year is here!  My beautiful little niece is 14 months now and walking like crazy!  And aren't her eyes stunning?!?!  I hope they stay that color forever!

I hope you all enjoy your New Year's Eve....stay safe!  2014 is going to be a great year!

I have been photographing this family since Nicole was pregnant with Miss A.  I love watching them grow as a family and I love being able to capture memories for them!  Here is a sneak peek from part two of their family session/Miss A's six month photos.

Enjoy!

Miss M - 2 Weeks Old | Temecula Newborn Photographer

Newborn sessions are my most challenging type of session.  Every newborn is different, much like every toddler is.  The only difference is you can give a toddler candy or even wave toys around to get their attention but you cannot do that with a newborn.  Miss M cooperated in the beginning and then wanted nothing to do with all of the ideas her mommy had for her session at my home.  BUT once we headed over to the lake for some photos with her family, she did great!  I have learned over the years to just go with whatever works for each individual baby because what may work for one, may not work for another.  Miss M enjoyed being bundled up in a basket under the warmth of the sun:)

I had a great time with Mr. D and his family a couple of days ago.  The weather was perfect and so was Mr. D!  Have I mentioned that I have baby fever?  Getting to hold Mr. D during his session made me want another one!

I love when families bring "props" from home that add a personal touch to their session.  Mr. D's daddy made the wooden sign in the background of some of the photos...love, love, love!

Enjoy the sneak peek and have a great weekend!
